The EDS Community has waited our entire lives for more awareness to be brought to our condition and finally there is a film seven years in the making that shares the stories of families living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It includes their struggles to be validated and find comprehensive care along with exposing the flaws in our system and how EDS can be mistaken for child abuse and neglect.
This is a monumental moment for so many of us and the EDS Zebra Club has partnered with You Are The Power to bring together the EDS Community, medical professionals, lawmakers and many others for a special screening of “Complicated – The Movie” in Alpharetta, GA with 11Alive News Senior Investigator Rebecca Lindstrom who’s powerful series the “Help That Harms” has given a voice to so many of our Fractured Families and helped lead to important change.

You Are The Power not only advocates for our Fractured Zebra Families here in Georgia, standing by their side throughout the most difficult of times— but are leading the charge to change policies and enact laws such as the recently signed, “Ridges Law” to protect the families of medically fragile children across the US including those with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
